We are looking forward to a fantastic new term with our grown up Year 3s.   Our topic is ‘planes, trains and automobiles’ so we will be learning about the history of flight, the development of the railways (with a focus on bridge building) and how the motor car has changed over time.

Kraftwerk’s “Autobahn” will be used in both music and dance.

Keep an eye on twitter for up-to-date news @stlawrencesy3

PE will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays, please remember to bring the correct PE kit to take part in lessons safely.

Year 3 were one of the lucky winners of the Yorkshire Museum's Jurassic World  schools competition and had the wonderful chance to meet Sir David Attenborough and ask him three questions based on the natural world.

Below are the photos of Sir David with the children who asked the questions.

These are photos of our class tree planting on the school field.

At the end of our Stone Age topic, Year 3 celebrated and shared their learning by hosting a Stone Age museum.
